I return to my research initiated in 2015 on libertarian interventions based on chapters of the Bible most commonly used by Christian religious fundamentalists to preach hatred against minorities. In Leviticus II, in the absence of any mention of Christ's love, I created a reedition of the chapter in which, through the erasure of words, only the reading of what would be the first and most important Christian commandment remains. It all starts from the premise that if any ignorant and unscrupulous person can interpret the Bible according to their own interests, I, too, as an artist shaped by the ideals of primitive and libertarian Christianity, can do the same."
Volto à minha pesquisa iniciada em 2015 sobre intervenções libertárias a partir dos capítulos da bíblia mais comumente usados por fundamentalistas religiosos cristãos para pregar o ódio contra minorias. Em Levitico II, diante da ausência de qualquer palavra que faça menção ao amor de Cristo fiz uma reedição do capítulo no qual, através do apagamento das palavras, só nos resta a leitura do que seria o primeiro e mais importante mandamento cristão. Tudo parte da premissa de que se qualquer pessoa ignorante e inescrupulosa pode interpretar a Bíblia segundo seus próprios interesses, eu também, na condição de artista formada pelos ideais do cristianismo primitivo e libertários, também o posso.
