(EN) RE-EXISTENCES (2020) is a documentary about migration of individuals from the Brazilian Queer community as a consequence of invisibility and social violence in their homeland. The film presents three intimate points of view and reflects on migration as a method of resistance and survival. Originally designed to be presented as a video installation on three separate screens, the three stories have the same duration and interweave images and narratives of each tale in a way that they complement, reinforce, or even contradict each other throughout the art work.
(PT) RE-EXISTÊNCIAS (2020) é um documentário sobre histórias de migração de indivíduos da comunidade Queer brasileira como consequência da invisibilidade e violência social em sua terra natal. O filme apresenta três pontos de vista íntimos e reflete sobre a migração como método de resistência e sobrevivência. Inicialmente criado para ser apresentado como vídeo instalação em 3 ecrãs separados, as três histórias tem o mesmo tempo de duração e intercalam as imagens e narrativas de cada estória de forma a se complementarem, reforçarem ou até mesmo se contradizerem ao longo do projeto.
